The Flat Belly Diet is all the rage right now and after looking
into it, I do not see that it is another fad diet. It has sound principles and
allows you to lose up to 7 lbs in the first four days! I am currently trying
this and I have to say that it does work. I lost 6 lbs on the jump start and am
still losing two weeks later.
Instructions

PURCHASE all your food items ahead of time for the four day jump start. This
will prevent temptation and you will know exactly what you are eating every day.
Buy cream of wheat, unsweetened applesauce, unsalted sunflower seeds, flaxseed
oil, low-fat string cheese, deli turkey breast meat, canned tuna, chicken
breasts, white fish, carrots, green beans and other items you are eating for the
four day jump start.
I basically ate the same thing every morning (cream of wheat, applesauce,
sunflower seeds and skim milk). I felt full and satisfied until lunch after
eating this, so I stuck to it. For lunch I ate skim mozzerella stringed cheese,
oven roasted turkey deli meat and grape tomatos. For my afternnon snack I
blended a cup of skim milk with a cup of blueberries for a refreshing smoothie.
And for dinner I ate grilled chicken breast with some brown rice and steamed
carrots or green beans. I did vary it, but basically that was it and it was easy
for me to stick to this routine for 4 days.

KICK your caffeine habbit! Four the four day jump start on the Flat Belly Diet,
it may be difficult for someone who drinks a lot of caffeine to go on a diet and
stop drinking caffeine. You may get withdrawal headaches and feel like you need
to eat something that is not on the diet. It usually subsides in a day or two,
so don't give up! You will feel much better detoxing and getting rid of body fat
and water weight during this four day jump start.

Eat all 4 meals! Each meal and snack is only 300 calories, so it is important to
make sure you eat every meal and not go more than 3 to 4 hours without eating.

Eat your MUFA (monounsaturated fat) with each meal. I stuck to eating sunflower
seeds as opposed to flaxseed oil (which makes me breakout). I did eat olive oil
or cook in it for dinner, but primarily used sunflower seeds for my MUFA.

Drink your sassy water which has the recipe in the Flat Belly Diet book.
Basically you cut up thin slices of a lemon, cucumber and grate some fresh
ginger and then add several mint leaves to a big water jug. Do this at night so
that everything infuses the water for drinking the next day. It does taste
pretty good and I think it has diuretic properties, helping with water
retention. If you get sick of the sassy water, just switch back to regular water
and may add some lemon to it.
